Charities, not-for-profit or non-government organisations (NGOs) don’t just use un-paid volunteers, they need passionate professionals to help them achieve their goals. Charities can be small and local like The Rowans Hospice or big and global like Save the Children. In order to flourish you’ll need to be passionate, adaptable and an excellent communicator, you may also need to do some volunteering when you start out but what ever your chosen career they can very rewarding and inspiring places to work.
